Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin Ingredients Needed:

Pork Tenderloin – This is not to be mistaken for pork loin! They are two different cuts of meat that require different cook times. A pork tenderloin should be roughly 1 lb in weight. For best results, trim the silver skin before adding to the slow cooker. Soy Sauce – This can be swapped with tamari or coconut aminos if preferred. I always choose low sodium and add salt as needed! Vinegar – This gives the sauce a nice tangy element. Salt – If you find that the soy sauce is already salty enough, you may choose to omit the salt. Red Pepper Flakes – Add more or less to adjust the level of spicy flavor. Honey – This gives the sauce a delightfully sweet note! Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey. Chicken Broth – I always recommend using a low sodium broth to cook with. That way, you can control the amount of salt in the final product. Cornstarch – This is used to thicken the sauce to that glaze-like consistency. Garlic – Add more or less to taste. Seasoning Salt – This helps to create the very best flavor for the meat.

Cover the Crockpot. Cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1/5-2 hours, or until a meat thermometer reads 140°F. Turn off the slow cooker and let the meat rest for 10 minutes. Slice the pork tenderloin. Serve with the sauce and enjoy!

Variations and Substitutions

Make it spicy: Sprinkle in more red pepper flakes to heat things up! Just be careful, because a little bit goes a long way. Make it extra garlicky: While you can always just add even more garlic, feel free to add garlic powder as well to really double down on that flavor. Skip the gluten: Soy sauce contains gluten. If you need to, you can avoid that by using tamari or coconut aminos!
